Friday 20 July
It was such a treat to visit the Australian Equestrian Eventing Team at their Olympic training camp facilities in Glouchestershire.
We see these incredible stars at so many events and see the results of the hard work they put in leading up, so to actually join them here, before what is the greatest sporting event in the world, is very special.
The buzz is electric yet calm (if that makes any sense) around the beautiful yard where the Australians who have flown over for the Games have been housed for the past three weeks, and the UK-based Australians joined last Tuesday.
Yesterday was the media day and I joined Australian TV and international press for interview and photo opportunities with the team.
Rockstar (and quite the surfer as you will see in the images!) Andrew Hoy is going into his seventh Olympic Games;
Beautiful hubby and wife - Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks are heading into their second Olympic Games;
Handsome Shane Rose is also on his second run into an Olympic Games;
AND:
The unstoppable Christopher Burton is making his Olympic Games debut.
Let's take a look at what they are up to just a few days out from them leaving for the Olympic Village, and the eventing phase of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
