Award winners at Australian International 3DE 2015

       The Jack Walsh Trophy, presented by Richard Walsh to Shane Rose as winner of the CCI4*

The Award Ceremonies at the Australian International 3 Day Event can take a little while as there are plenty of trophies and prizes to be presented but it’s a very special time. Here’s our wrap up of all of the awards but let's start with some video moments from the CCI4* prize giving, including commentator Spencer Sturmey trying to get the 'boys' off their horses!

As first and second place getter, Shane picked up a cool $ 54,000, prompting him to joke "That's more than my entire eventing earnings to date!" plus a Bates Saddle worth $4995 (although as a Bates Ambassador, Shane probably already has a few of those). The CCI2* winner Amanda Ross also won a Bates Saddle (and is also a Bates Ambassador), a $2,000 Horseland voucher and rug while the Schockemole Sports Young Rider CCI2* Champion, Madeline Wilson, won a Bates Saddle, the Schockemole Sports rug and $1,000 voucher

Third place getter in the CCI4* Clarke Johnson won $14,000 while the rest of the top ten CCI4* riders received the folowing;

4th Place: $10,000

5th Place: $7,000

6th Place: $6,000

7th Place: $5,000

8th Place: $4,000

9th Place: $3,000

10th Place: $3,000
