Nina Clarke and her EvA80 winning young horse LP Antes at Tonimbuk
Nina Clarke had an up and down weekend at Tonimbuk Horse Trials recently. Nina is not only part of the organising committee for the event which has recently been revived thanks to the support of Hanson Quarries but she also rode her six year old off the track thoroughbred LP Antes for a win in the EvA80 at his first start and rode LP Boudin in the CIC3*
The outcome for LP Boudin was less successful despite a great start in the dressage when Nina produced a lovely test for fourth place going into the evening show jumping in the indoor arena. At that point however LP Boudin decided that the first fence on course was definitely not to his liking and they were sadly eliminated.

An experienced competitor and coach, Nina was disappointed but, as she said, ‘We will have to pick ourselves up and have a run around Wandin 2* to get my confidence back again!’
And that is exactly what Nina and LP Boudin did last weekend, jumping a clear round in the show jumping phase to get back on track!
