With only four weeks to go to the key selection event in Australia for London 2012, Sydney International 3 Day Event is getting into top gear. Most of the Australian based elite riders will be heading to the venue which hosted the Sydney 2000 Olympics to prove to selectors that they should be included on the team for London.
It will be a great event for spectators too with a cross country course walk hosted by visiting British course designer, Mike Etherington-Smith and Wayne Roycoft (patron of Sydney International Eventing) on Saturday 28th April and tickets are on sale now online or at the gate on the day. Money from ticket sales goes directly back into improving the event in future years for competitors and spectators so, as well as having a great day out, you are helping future events by attending!
On cross country day you will also get to see NSW Equitation Championships, Young and Junior Rider Show JUmping and the Amateur Show Jumping while on Sunday the showjumping phase of the Sydney International 3 Day Event is also complemented by the Jumping NSW Greater Sydney World Cup qualifier which is also a qualifier for the EA 2012 Equestrian Grand Final.
