From Sydney International Horse Trials to Normandy 2014

There are going to be some very happy people at the Sydney International Horse Trials when the winners of two separate competitions, but both with the amazing prizes of a trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014TM in Normandy, will be decided

The winner of one trip will have to prove their worth in the saddle by winning the grand final of the Alltech Equine Advantage Eventing Series. To reach this finale riders have competed in up to five qualifying events at CIC 1* level in the 2013/2014 eventing season, and the series will culminate in the last day of competition at the Sydney International Horse Trials 2014.

A total of 13 combinations have qualified for the final in the Alltech CIC 2* class at the Sydney International Horse Trials.

With some Australia’s best riders in contention, the leader board from 2013 has been wiped clean, as the following competitors are eligible to give it their all and compete for the grand prize in this showcase final:

  1. Shane Rose
  2. Natalie Davies
  3. Tallara Barwick
  4. Stuart Tinney
  5. Sarah Wheaton
  6. Eleanor Osborne
  7. Katja Weimann
  8. Andrew Heseltine
  9. Chris Height
  10. Samantha Cesnik
  11. Terri Kolb
  12. Jess Somerfield

We will all be on the edge of our seats waiting to see which rider takes out the series and will be on their way to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014TM in Normandy (courtesy of Alltech Australia).

Alltech initiated this series to the CIC 1* level in 2013, offering registered participants the opportunity to win double prize money if they placed in the nominated 2013 events. The series saw Alltech give away over $2000 in extra prize money alone!

The winner of the other trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014TM in Normandy needs no skill at all! All you have to do is subscribe to An Eventful Life 4* Membership for 12 months and go into the draw to win a trip of a lifetime. The winner receives a trip for two people to a total value of AUD$9,000 to the FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France to attend the Eventing competition from 27th August – 1st September 2014.
