Who will be taking home the winning ribbons at this years Wandin event?
Around 570 horses will be galloping around the Wandin cross country course this weekend and we’ll be there capturing all the action. We’ll bring you reports, interviews and photos while our video cameras will be set up to catch riders as they ride cross country on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we’ll video the three EvA80 sections and possibly the Training 2 sections over the Big Wandin track and on Sunday we’ll be videoing all the classes over the Big Wandin course. It’s going to be a busy weekend.

The Wandin committee must be very happy with their large entries, which may be be partly due to Tominbuk not running, but equally it could just be that so many riders love coming to Wandin and really enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Will tea and cake's be on offer?
The top class of the weekend is the CIC3* where Seumas Marwood will give Wild Oats a run before heading off to Badminton and Robert Palm will be kept busy with three horses (Fairview Metallica, Visual Laughter and Wyuna Clear Image) to ride in the 13 strong field – hope his horses don’t need too much warm up time for the dressage. In fact with just 18 minutes allocated to get through the whole class in the show jumping phase it’s going to be entertaining to see Robert leap from one horse to the other!
The CIC2* class has attracted a field of 22, while the CIC* attracted 53 combinations and will run two sections. All up the Wandin event are running 23 sections of various classes along with their popular young event horse class and with the weather predicted to be around a pleasant 20 degrees with mixture of sunshine and cloud we’re really looking forward to a great weekend.
