The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials 2013 has yet again been voted as the best horse trials event in the world by the equestrian annual, L’Année Hippique.
This is the seventh time that Burghley has taken the title, which is voted on by riders based on criteria such as stabling, ground conditions, course preparation and prize money
The event, which takes place on the Burghley Estate in Stamford, Lincolnshire is certainly one of our favourites and to celebrate their win we’ve put together a gallery of photos from 2013 that we haven’t previously published, showing many of the things that make Burghley special to us
