Pilot phase starts for Eventing FEI Entry System

The FEI Entry System was launched in January 2013 for Jumping and has gradually incorporated three other FEI disciplines - Endurance, Dressage and Driving - all of which are fully managed through the FEI Entry System.

Eventing is now the next discipline to be launched on the FEI Entry System starting with a pilot phase from June to September. All Eventing Events organised in GBR, USA and FRA are part of this pilot phase and all entries for CIC or CCI Events in these countries will have to be made via the FEI Entry System. These three countries will provide with essential feedback to the FEI which will be used to improve and modify the system before the full launch on 1 October 2015. From that date onwards, the use of the FEI Entry System for Eventing will be mandatory for all CIC and CCI Events worldwide.

This service which is aimed at National Federations and Organising Committees:

  • Enables OC’s to manage entries online, as all entries from NF’s are received from a single source
  • Provides downloadable Master lists with FEI ID’s as well as rider and horse details
  • Means there is no more need to type in any data with risk of errors
  • Gives a better quality and traceability of the data and improves results’ quality

The key points of the FEI Entry System for Eventing are:

  • Check of Athlete and Horse qualification
  • Management of potential Athlete reverse qualification
