Shane Rose and Shanghai Joe head out to cross country
A statement by the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials regarding the condition of Shane Rose's horse Shanghai Joe reads;
"Following a fall at Fence 19,the horse got free and galloped back to the stables. Unfortunately he slipped on the gravel path at the entrance and suffered an injury to a forelimb. He has been stabilised at the event's veterinary centre by an orthapaedic specialist before being transferred to Breadstone Veterinary Hospital for further assessment and treatment
