The 2024 Allerton Park Horse Trials, held in Knaresborough, Yorkshire over the Blenheim weekend of 21st & 22nd September, shares more than just dates with the prestigious Blenheim Palace event, with the stunning old parkland venue of Allerton Park proving a hit with spectators and riders.
The flowing tracks of the cross-country make good use of the undulating ground and natural features, such as the Dew Pond complex (take your wellies to walk this water jump on the island complex!). The courses are also perfect to give horses and riders the experience of long galloping stretches between more natural obstacles and serves as a good preparation for three day eventing or to consolidate recent form.
Classes run from BE100 to Open Intermediate with Open Novice and BE100 Open sections for U18’s and the event also hosts the last Novice Masters class of the season.
