Nicola Wilson riding Hawk Eye and Ros Canter riding Pencos Crown Jewel both won classes at Richmond (2) last year and they’re both back again for the first Richmond British Eventing fixture of this year.
Both ladies will be ones to watch in the Open Intermediate and Intermediate classes but keep an eye out for another of last year’s winners, James Avery (who won’t have far to travel) and coming south from Scotland, Ian Stark on the Duchess of Devonshire’s Chatsworth Diamond.
There is plenty of young talent too with the Open Intermediate U21 taking place on Friday while the BE90, BE100 and Novice classes spread across the three days
