The suitcase is packed!

Thanks to Stuart Tinney for these behind the scenes photos at the WEG - Kiwi (Vettori) certainly seems to have settled in well. Don't panic - he's only rolling in the third photo, not playing dead! This will be my last blog from here as tomorrow I'm off to Kentucky myself and ready for adventures! I have been lucky enough to go to the WEG in both Jerez (Spain 2002) and Aachen (Germany 2006) which were very different but great and I'm looking forward to being at the first WEG to be held outside of Europe. I fly to LA tomorrow and meet up with my great friends and long-time travelling partners - Julie Wilson, Anna Sharpley, Toni-anne Collins, Rosemarie Hazard-Ellis and Vaughan Ellis. After one night in LA we each take a different route to Lexington - my first night there will be as a house guest of Tim Arthur - a resident of Lexington (always great to visit a local!) who also happens to be one of the directors of Alltech! No doubt I'll be able to give you lots more info about Alltech, the naming rights sponsor of the WEG, after that! Then I join the rest of the gang at our new Kentucky home - a very delightful (or it looks that way on the Internet!) farm called Crockett House near Frankfort - about 25 minutes from Kentucky Horse Park. I'll fill you in on all of the details when I get there! Don't forget that you can also find our updates on Facebook and Twitter (I'll be tweeting from the stadium as things happen) - just click on the icons on our Home Page to link to these sites! See y'aaall in a couple of days!
