Classes: CIC***, CIC**, CIC*, EvA 105, EvA 95, EvA 80, EvA 60. All EvA classes (except EvA 60) will be divided into Open, Horse and Rider sections.
Location: Bicentennial Equestrian Park, Exeter Road, Camden, NSW.
Bicentennial Park is on the outskirts of Camden, with a short walk taking you into the town centre. Situated about an hour south west of Sydney this venue is popular with a wide range of riders and it is not uncommon for every class to be full to bursting.
The venue has a fenced off grass main arena which is used for some dressage and show jumping phases. The cross country course also runs through the arena. A deep gully river splits the park and many of the dressage arena’s are set up on the other side of the river to the main arena. The Clubhouse offers good shower and toilet facilities and wash bays are on site along with several taps on fence lines.
The continually upgraded cross country course, designed by Wayne Copping, is a true international standard for all classes. The course runs over flat parkland until the last third of the track where the higher level classes take a run up a substantial hill. The going is always high on the list of priorities for this event and every effort is made to make the whole track as good for the horses as possible.
Provisional Timetable:
Saturday – All Dressage and some lower level cross country.
Sunday – CIC3* and other higher levels cross country and showjumping.
(other show jumping yet to be confirmed for Saturday or Sunday)
