The Ariat Sydney International Three Day Event (Syd3de), to run from 6th – 8th May 2022 , will serve as an important competition ahead of the FEI Eventing World Championships at Pratoni Del Vivaro, Italy later this year.
Event Coordinator Shane Rose says the event plays a key role.
“It’s a really important event for the Australian calendar” says Shane “At the top end of the event we run a CCI2*, CCI3* and CCI4* in long and short formats, which enables all the FEI combinations to participate no matter where they are in their program”
“They all get to benefit from this event, with top-quality cross-country courses, international judges and the atmosphere that comes with a major competition.”
The CCI4* star riders will enjoy cross country courses designed by Stuart Tinney, whilst Chris Ross (NZL) will be designing the CCI2* and CCI3* courses. Shane Rose will also be at the helm for the 60cm to 1* cross-country courses.
The Sydney International Three Day Event (Syd3de) is also pleased to welcome on board Ariat as the naming rights sponsor for the 2022 event.
Ariat has been a long-time supporter of the event and Syd3de are grateful for their increased contribution this year.
“Ariat is a quality company that has been synonymous with Equestrian sport for as long as I can remember” says Event President David Irwin “We are honoured to have them as naming rights sponsor and look forward to working with them to produce a great event”
Ariat’s footwear and riding apparel are developed to suit the needs of world-class equestrian athletes and equine enthusiasts alike.
“Our advanced technology helps riders perform at their peak, so it’s an exciting opportunity to continue partnering with an elite event such as the Sydney International Three Day Event,” said Terry Donohue, Ariat Australia’s Managing Director.
The event which runs from 6-8 May, will have classes from grassroots levels through to CCI4* incorporating hundreds of competitors including Australia’s leading riders and horses and will be held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park from May 6th – 8th, 2022. Entry is free.
