Albury International CCI Horse Trials 2024 - XC Videos
The 2024 Albury International Horse Trials presented by Albury IVF and Blacklocks Isuzu is taking place this week from Friday 25th – Sunday 27th October 2024, and the entry list is jam packed across the classes.
Held at the Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre in Albury, NSW the International Level eventing competition is hosting FEI long format eventing competitions at CCI1* - 4* levels plus national classes at EvA80 and EvA95 levels.
The entries are massive for this popular event that sees competitors from both sides of the NSW and Victorian borders keen for a run at all levels.
Shane Rose is, as always, the busiest rider at the event with six horses competing including Matrixx in the Albury IVF CCI4*-S, a class which has 25 combinations coming forward. Sam Woods and SS Eight Count, 4* winners at the recent Quirindi Eventing CCI are also competing in this class as are Adelaide CCI5* winners, David Middleton and WEC In The Money.
Another winner from Quirindi Eventing, Christine Bates riding Bloomfield Findon will be one of the 37 combinations competing in the Blacklocks Isuzu Ute CCI3*-S and the recent winners of the 1* at the Queensland International 3 Day Event, Victoria’s Lamoza Velisha and her imported horse Call Me Cooley will be ones to watch as they step up a level in the Jayco Albury Wodonga CCI2* this weekend.
While the event kicks off on Friday, only EvA competitors will take to the dressage arenas that day and they, along with the EvA95 will head out on cross country on Saturday. All star classes will compete on the weekend with cross country on Sunday.
We’ll be filming all horses and riders on cross country and bringing you updates throughout the event here on the website and our socials, plus a full wrap up next week.
