The show jumping under lights on Saturday night at the Crowe Howarth Albury Wodonga International Horse Trials has left a new leader heading into the cross country phase.
Stuart Tinney and his Normandy WEG mount Pluto Mio, owned by John and Jane Pittard, jumped clear to stay on their dressage score of 39.5 while the dressage leader Shane Rose and CP Qualified rolled one rail to be close behind on 41.10. These two contenders for berths at Rio are both well ahead of the field with Amanda Ross’ lovely Dicavalli Diesel, still green at this level, also having a rail to stay in third place on 48.6
It is another sunny and warm day on the NSW/Victorian border as the cross country is underway but let’s take a look back to Saturday’s competition with some of Shane Rose’s winning dressage test
