Andrew Barnett leads the CCI4*-S at the Bowral Kubota Festival of Eventing after a wet first day of competition at Wallaby Hill
Andrew’s dressage score of 25 on Go Tosca, winner of the CCI4*-S at the Queensland International 3 Day Event in October, another competition held in wet conditions, puts them three penalties ahead of Cathryn Herbert riding Wimborne Constable (28) and Heath Ryan riding Bronze Boy R in third on 29.30 penalties
Hazel Shannon, recently returned from the UK and competing at the World Championships in Italy, leads the Prydes Easifeed CCI2*-S on board her recent addition to the team, Willingapark Chelsea with a score of 28.2 but her old boss Heath Ryan is once in the mix, close behind on a score of 28.4 riding Bobby Dazzler while Alex Townsend riding WHF Lyrical is in third (32.3)
