Perth Horse Trials Association welcomes a highly acclaimed international saddlery brand as title sponsors for their second event of 2018. After successfully exhibiting at the BGC Quarries Wooroloo 1 Event in May, Bates Saddles come on board as title sponsors for the Bates Saddles Wooroloo International Three Day Event (17-20 August).
“Bates Saddles is delighted to return as naming rights sponsor to the 2018 Bates Saddles Wooroloo International Three Day Event,” said a Bates spokesperson. “Following the successful launch of our new Eventing saddle, the Bates Advanta, at the May event, Bates Saddles will be showcasing our entire range of high-performance saddles at our trade stand. Riders and spectators are invited to speak to our team of saddle experts and test ride any of our saddles.”
From its Western Australian roots, Bates Saddles have cemented a worldwide reputation as the saddle experts in developing creative solutions to optimise horse and rider comfort and performance. Established in Perth in 1934, the company still runs its marketing and research and development teams from WA, with a huge stockist network that extends across Europe and North America.
“We are delighted to welcome such an iconic and respected WA brand as title sponsors, and very much look forward to working closely with Bates Saddles to deliver a successful Bates Saddles Wooroloo International Three Day Event for riders, spectators and sponsors,” said Kerrie Robbins, chair of Perth Horse Trials Association.
The Bates Saddles Wooroloo International Three Day Event holds classes from EvA65 to CCI3*, and is the only event in WA to provide an international three day class at this top level (CCI3*). Hosted at Wooroloo Prison Farm, by kind permission of the Department of Corrective Services, the event is signposted off Gt Eastern Highway, 8km from Chidlow. Cross country day is Sunday 19th August, where spectators can enjoy fine views of the action from the viewing area close to the newly refurbished water jump. Admission is free.
