Sam Lyle had a great prep run winning the CCI4*-S at Quirindi Eventing - can he do it again at the Ariat Sydney International 3 Day Event?
In 2021 Sam Lyle and BF Valour won the CCI4*-S at the Sydney International 3 Day Event and they head there again this week, not only as defending champions but on good form after winning the CCI4*-S at Quirindi Eventing last weekend
Quirindi has been a good event for Sam and Charlotte Mavris’ warmblood BF Valour over the years, winning the CCI2* and CCI3* there as they moved up the grades, and in 2020 they had their first win at CCN4* level at Sydney Summer Classic.
Since then, they have won two of the limited opportunities for CCI4*-S classes in Australia, Sam says that BF Valour has pulled up in good shape after his run at Quirindi and they will certainly be ones to watch at Sydney International next weekend
