Cathryn Herbert and Wimborne Constable
An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at
Bowral Kubota Festival of Eventing at Wallaby Hill
Cathryn Herbert and the little black stallion Wimborne Constable will go into the final day of competition at the Bowral Kubota Festival of Eventing in the lead of the CCI4*-S after a great day of cross country at Wallaby Hill
Cathryn and Wimborne Constable produced a clear round in the third fastest time of the 4* class to sit on a score of 32.8, ahead of Andrew Cooper riding Pepper Jack (36.70) and Gemma O’Leary riding Arnage Porsche (39.70). Cathryn moved up from second place after the dressage when the overnight leader, Andrew Barnett riding Go Tosca, was one of several combinations to pick up jumping penalties on course
The leaders of the other international classes remained the same with Teegan Ashby riding TAE Magic Mushroom still leading the Wallaby Hill Farm CCI3*-S and Hazel Shannon riding Willingapark Chelsea on top of the Prydes Easifeed CCI2*-S, both combinations remaining on their dressage scores
Christine Bates has also held onto her lead in the Gubbins Pullbrook Group Mitre 10 CCN1* riding Fleeting while Lamoza Velish riding Masterson NZ has moved up from fourth place after dressage into the lead of the Hannover Lodge CCN1*- S Junior
The EvA95 classes completed all phases today – more to come from those classes in the next few days and we’ll be back with more from the international classes on cross country day soon
