An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at
Equestriad CCN December - order or view videos here
After an on-again-off-again year of eventing in Australia, we head back to Equestriad at Camden, NSW this week for the final eventing competition of 2021
It seems a long time ago (and a lot of lockdown time!) since we were last at Camden Bicentennial Park, 60km south-west of Sydney, for Equestriad in May when Sam Fasher and his 16-year-old gelding Sulitanos took their first 4* win together
Sam is back to compete with Sulitanos in the CCN4*, as are Jess Rae riding Fifth Avenue and Gemma Tinney riding Diabolo, who took second and third places at the May competition. One of the Event Organisers, Olympian Shane Rose will also have two horses in the 4* with Stakkino and Dreamcatcher, who recently took first and second places at a very wet Quirindi Eventing
It looks as if we may get a smattering of the wet stuff on Sunday at Camden (but nowhere near the record rainfall of Quirindi thank heavens) when the cross country for all classes – from EvA60 to CCN4* - will take place. The CCN1*-4* classes will all complete dressage and show jumping on Saturday
We'll be back with daily updates, a full wrap up report next week and don't forget to stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for video snippets and more during the weekend .....
