Heath Ryan and Bronze Boy R started the CCN4* at Equestriad in the lead on Saturday after the dressage phase and on Sunday they claimed it back to win the overall class
The overnight leader, Gemma Tinney riding Diabolo, jumped clear around the cross country on another steamy day in Camden, NSW but Heath pipped her with a faster time, adding 9.6 time penalties to win on a score of 45.2 ahead of Gemma’s 46.70. Jess Rae riding Fifth Avenue took third place in the top class
Shane Rose followed up his win at Quirindi on board the seven-year-old thoroughbred Matrixx with another CCN3* win at Equestriad while Jess Somerfield riding Finch Farm Carpenteria, who opted for a steady training run at Quirindi, put her foot down today to produce a double clear cross country round and take the CCN2*. Another Quirindi winner, Molly Kennedy riding Lavender Rise Ferghus also took the CCN1* win here
Heath Ryan not only won the CCN4* but also the EvA95A on Jaguar Calling R while Junior rider Hannah Deegan won the EvA95B on HK Hawthorn
Skye Slattery riding Go Wuhu (great name!) and Catherine Baxter riding Koko Bean won the EvA80 Sections A and B
In the 60cm classes, Trudy Dyer and Cyclone Yasi won the EvA60A, Bridget Martin and Just Red took the EvA60B and Angelina Thompson riding Silverthorn Goodwill won the EvA60 Junior
