An Eventful Life filmed all competitors on cross country at
Bowral Kubota Festival of Eventing at Wallaby Hill
With no CCI4*-L class at the Bowral Kubota Festival of Eventing this year, there was time for some lower level national classes and the EvA95 proved popular with three sections completing on Saturday
The Tarraleah Park EvA95-A class was won by Chris Height riding Lucky Contender who made the trip from Victoria worthwhile. They finished on their dressage score of 25.50 penalties ahead of Sam Lyle riding Revelwood Stedintine (26.80) and Teegan Ashby riding Riverdowns Legacy in third (29.70)
Lauren Browne and Black Symphony (see video above) have had four starts this year at EvA95 level for two second places and now a win at Wallaby Hill in the Completely Equine EvA95 Section B.
They also won on their dressage score of 23.70 penalties, producing a clear show jumping round and easily completing the EvA95 cross country course 11 secs under optimal time. Second place again went to Sam Lyle riding Finch Farm Chippendale (24.20) and third place to Jamie Atkinson on Benjamin Boots (28.40)
Amelia Dart riding Arakoola Bronze took the Penelope Store Australia EvA95 Junior class on their 30.60 penalty dressage score, but it was a close thing to the very end with Lamoza Velisha giving chase to finish just 0.20 penalties off the winning pace. Watch Amelia and Arakoola Bronze’s winning ride in the video below
1st: Amelia Dart and Arakoola Bronze 30.60 2nd: Lamoza Velisha and Valenthyme 30.80 3rd: Charlotte Millington and Jaykobee Gold 32.60
