Equestriad CCI Horse Trials 2024 XC Videos
She’s a mum, a lawyer and a very good eventing rider. And tonight, Emma Mason leads the CCI4*-S at Equestriad at Camden, having jumped into the top spot late on Saturday afternoon.
Third after the morning's dressage, Emma and the 11-year-old gelding KPH Kingfisher added just 0.8 time penalties to their morning dressage score of 34.30 to clinch the lead but it is a very close thing heading into Sunday’s cross country, with Katie Taliana riding Revelwood Wynston Street remaining in second place, also jumping clear but with 1.6 time penalties for a score of 34.50.
Dressage leader Olivia Shore rolled a pole and also added 2.4 time penalties to now sit in third place (35) with Sam Woods riding SS Eight Count, jumping one of just three double clear rounds, now in fourth place, Jess Somerfield on Finch Farm Carpentaria in fifth and Jess Rae, also jumping double clear, in sixth on Fifth Avenue.
But, while Olivia has moved down in the 4*, she has also moved up in the CCI3*-S, now leading on board Eliva Castana after jumping a clear round with dressage leader Christine Bates riding Bloomfield Findon in second place and Shane Rose riding Holy Moses in third.
Check back tomorrow for our full wrap up!
