We may not know who are the winners are of the big event at this year’s Saddleworld Melbourne International 3 Day Event until Monday but we do have a few early winners from yesterday’s first horse inspection

Gabrielle Coulthard and Howard Ward judged the Dubarry Australiasia Fashions at the Trot Up in the CCI1* classes and awarded the best dressed prizes to Alice Weller in the Uluru Stud CCI1* Junior class and Seumas Marwood winner in the Off the Track CCI1* class.

VRC Ambassador Georgia Connolly and David Ross from Dubarry judged the 2 and 3* classes which were won by Ben Tyson in the Horseware Australia CCI 2* class and Cooper Oborn in the Pryde’s Easifeeds CCI3* class

The ESB Young Event Horse Classes also took place following the first horse inspection with Eliza Bullen’s Dark Venture winning the 4 Year Old class, Natalie Davies riding Lucrezia Elmare winning the 5 Year Old and Jess Manson winning the 6 Year Old class with Misty Isle Raconteur
