Hazel Shannon and Willingapark Clifford led the Britt Grovenor Photography CCI4*-S after dressage at Tamworth International Eventing on Saturday, but it was Oliver Barrett riding Sandhills Briar who overtook her in the evening showjumping.
Hazel and Clifford strutted their stuff in the afternoon dressage to score 32.70, just edging out Catie Herbert riding last year’s winner Wimborne Constable on 32.90 while Oliver and Sandhills Briar moved up from third place when both Hazel and Catie rolled one pole apiece.
Niki Rose is on a roll in the other two FEI classes, leading the Amy-Sue Alston Photography CCI3*-S on board Dreamrush and the Red Aussie Co Photography CCI2*-S with Cooley All Over (29).
