An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at
Quirindi Eventing CCI/CCN 2022
Updated 4pm 12th August
Sadly the weather gods have struck again and Quirindi Eventing has had to cancel this weekend's event following more rain impacting ground conditions
Quirindi Eventing is giving Australian competitors, who have been deprived of many events this year due to the wet weather, a chance to get valuable qualifications this weekend (and yes, it is raining again!)
In addition to the National competitions at 4* and 3* level, FEI classes are also being held alongside at CCI2*-L, CCI3*-L and CCI4*-L levels. There are also the long format National classes at CCN1*-L, CCN95-L, CCN80-L and CCN60-L levels
While most 4* competitors, including World Championship hopeful Shane Rose on Virgil, Easy Turn, Matrixx and Dotti, have opted to run in the National class, Heath Ryan riding Bronze Boy R and Courtney Slattery riding Rocky Road will be battling it out in the CCI4*-L
With the long format classes dominating the event, things kick off on Friday with the trot-up followed by the dressage, all cross country takes place on Saturday and show jumping, in reverse order, is on Sunday after the second horse inspection
