There is not a lot of eventing happening in Australia as we await the return of good weather in the southern States but, now the Paris 2024 Olympic Games at Versailles are over for equestrian fans, it’s time to drag yourself off the couch and get back out there.
This weekend, it’s all go at the REA Wagga CCN One Day Event at Narrandera in NSW – and they even have a bit of tinsel on the Paris jump to get the horses really jumping out of their woolly coats!
There are two CCN star classes – the Junee Prime Lamb CCN2* (which sounds rather delicious) and the Matavia Performance Horses CCN1* plus national level classes from EvA50 to EvA95. All classes do their dressage and showjumping on Saturday, with the exception of the EvA65 and EvA80 who show jump on Sunday, and head out on the Craig Gordon designed cross country on Sunday.
We’ll be filming all competitors on cross country on Sunday so keep an eye out on our socials for video snippets during the event and full cross country videos afterwards!
