Shane Rose did an about turn on his horses’ entries today with his talented imported mare Easy Turn, originally listed on the CCN4* list, competing in the Mitavite CCI4* and taking the lead in this class after dressage 

Shane and Easy Turn, a horse Shane thinks is ‘a very strong contender for the World Championships and the next Olympic Games’ lead on a score of 25.10, only just pipping Tamworth 4* winners Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture, close behind on 25.70 and last year’s Sydney 3DE 4*-S winner, Sam Lyle riding BF Valour on 27.90

Shane also leads the small field of three combinations in the CCN4* on board his Tokyo horse, Virgil (29.8)

Signe Jackson riding Collateral Damage leads the AIIR Members CCI3* and Jess Somerfield riding Finch Farm Carpenteria leads the Boonoona Design CCI2*

The International classes all show jump and head out on cross country tomorrow but a few of the national classes completed today
