Sir Mark Todd to compete at Equestrian In The Park

Sir Mark Todd KNZM CBE, a multi-gold medal winning New Zealand Olympic champion will be heading to Perth in December to compete at Equestrian in the Park

The high-adrenaline eventing Grand Prix, Equestrian In The Park returns to the banks of Perth’s Swan River and will again be held on Taylor Reserve, Victoria Park on Saturday 1st December

In 2016, visiting rider Harry Meade had the good problem of how to deal with the car he won in Perth; this year it will be the turn of the high profile visiting eventer Sir Mark Todd to see if he can scoop the goodies

The inner-city venue may not host exactly the type of course that Mark is used with the big man having competed at eight Olympic games, five World Championships and multiple winner at Badminton and Burghley five. He has been awarded the MBE (1984), the CBE (1995), in 2000 he was voted the 'Event Rider of the 20th Century' by the FEI and he received a Knighthood in 2013

As well as competing at Equestrian In The Park Mark will be making public appearances throughout the day and he will be teaching a sold-out clinic at Oakford Equestrian Centre where fence-sitting tickets are available
