Steph Hann and her off the track thoroughbred who enjoys a bit of wet ground won their first CCI4*-S title today at the Cardinia Shire Tonimbuk International Horse Trials at their first attempt at this level
Steph and True Celebre were in second place after the dressage on Saturday with a score of 31 and dropped down to fifth in the evening’s show jumping phase with a rail down but when Amanda Ross, and Rob Palm withdrew before cross country and Megan Jones retired on course, Steph once again moved back into the lead
She finished her first CCI4*-S as the winner, getting around the new John Nicholson course with 19.6 time penalties to finish on a score of 58.20, which she admitted was 'a bit of a shock!’
