The Randwick Equine Centre Sydney Eventing Summer Classic is going to be bigger and better than ever!
After bushfires and Covid cancellations in 2020, entries for the long-awaited Randwick Equine Centre Sydney Eventing Summer Classic are now open.
The event, held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) at Horsley Park, will take place on 21st & 22nd February and includes not only National classes from EvA60 to CCN4* but also CCI2*-S and CCI3*-S classes
All phases of the EvA60 classes will run on Saturday and all phases of the EvA80 will run on Sunday while all other classes will take place across the weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing Aussie eventers, including some Tokyo-hopefuls, back out on course at the Sydney 2000 Olympic venue and there is a great new Teams competition, sponsored by teQ, for the lower levels
The teQ Teams competition will see teams of five at any combination of levels from EvA60 to 1* take part. The top three scores will count and, if you need some chums to make up a fivesome, the helpful SIEC organisers will connect you with a friendly team
We have a feeling we’re going to be seeing some impressively dressed teams and hearing some fun team names on the commentary!
