Shane Rose and Easy Turn at the Australian International 3 Day Event 2018
Shane Rose and Easy Turn (aka Tina) have taken the lead in the CCI4*-L after the dressage phase at Wallaby Hill in Australia
The nine-year-old German bred mare, who won this class at her first CCI4*-L format in 2019 on her dressage score of 30.1, certainly impressed the judges this year for a personal best dressage score of 25. Shane obviously hasn’t just been relaxing during a quiet year!
Stuart Tinney riding Celebration is in second place on a score of 27.30 and Megan Jones riding Kirby Park Impress is currently in third place on 28.80, giving us a battle of the Olympians, as we previously predicted
Christine Bates is stopping Shane having it all his way, leading the CCI4*-S with a score of 26.30 on board the experienced Adelaide Hill with Shane in second place on Virgil (27.40) and Shenae Lowings riding Bold Venture third on 27.6
Andrew Barnett was aiming to lead the CCI3*-L from the start and he has done just that riding Go Tosca with a score of 24.90. They currently have a strong lead over Gemma Tinney riding Dalenna Daydream (30.9) while Andrew Cooper leads the CCI2*-L on Pepper Jack
We’ll be back with a quick update tomorrow and full wrap up next week ……
