Hannah Klep and her off the track racehorse Reprieve put in one of their best performances for the CCN2*-S win at the Southern Highland Toyota Berrima Spring One Day Event at the start of November
Hannah and Reprieve, who were part of the Australian Oceania Championship Young Rider team at Taupo last year, moved up from third after the dressage to take the win on their dressage score of 31.80, beating her coach and mentor Sam Lyle who took second place riding Our Congrats
The 13-year-old Reprieve, by Encosta De Lago, has had a year off competition but according to Hannah he is ‘feeling as good as ever’. They were the only combination to make the time on cross country in the 2* and this is how they did it …
Matilda Mccaroll and Valenthyme were winners of the CCN1* at just their third start together and their second 1*. Produced and previously ridden by Edith Kane, the very good looking Valenthyme is one of those horses that just command attention and canters around the course with his ears pricked ....
Matilda won the class on a score of 32.50, beating Olympian Rebel Morrow who took second place on board Artes Fliegende
The CCN1*-Junior was won by Ella Silk and the delightfully named Go Theodorable, adding just four penalties to their dressage score to take the win ahead of Molly Tillett and Cause For Applause
Our video prize winners in the EvA95, EvA80 and EvA60 went to the Junior winners – Annabelle Stott Despoja riding Moonbah Ridge Truffles, Lotus Grant riding Bloomsburys Sir Galahad and Codie White riding Koorana Regal Prince 2nd
Congratulations to all winners!
