“Well I have to say the last week has been a bit of a blur for me...literally” says Megan Jones on her Facebook page
Megan took a bad tumble whilst galloping Freckles (Kirby Park Invader) on Wednesday morning and on the second visit to hospital on Thursday it was discovered that she had serious concussion and two broken ribs, which would explain why she wasn’t feeling too well!
Megan was meant to be doing a clinic in Melbourne this weekend but is having to spend some time recovering and also will have to miss the event at Wallaby Hill. She will be heading over to Western Australia for Eventing In The Park but will be watching from the sidelines as she won’t be riding for a few weeks
However as Megan says, she is ‘just thankful neither Freckles or I were seriously injured as it could have been way worse’
