Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) has announced the eventing riders and horses on its High Performance Programme as at December 2023.
The programme includes the High Performance squad and the High Performance Futures squad, which operate across both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, supporting the combinations tracking towards the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Husband and wife team Tim and Jonelle are currently the only two riders on the High Performance Squad with their CCI5* winning horses Grappa Nera, Falco and Coup De Coeur Dudevin.
Tim also has three horses and Jonelle two horses listed on the 18-strong Futures squad. Their bronze winning teammates at the 2022 World Championships, Clarke Johnstone and Monica Spencer, also have horses listed on the Potential squad.
