US-based rider Ryan Wood is not listed and has advised on social media that he has withdrawn from consideration, saying “We are devastated to say that after a great run at Luhmuhlen, Cooley Flight is not feeling 100% and last week we made the decision to withdraw Blue from contention for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As difficult as it is to make this call, it’s quite easy when it means he will be coming home happy and healthy. We are so grateful to have had caught this early and are looking forward to a 5* on the horizon”
