Post-Tokyo New Zealand Eventing Squad Updates

Equestrian Sports New Zealand has announced its post Tokyo updates to the high performance eventing squads

The High Performance Programme, consisting of the High Performance squad and the High Performance Futures squad, operates across both New Zealand and the United Kingdom and supports those combinations tracking towards the World Championships and the Olympic Games

A new category of squad has also been created – the High Performance Recognition Squad, established to recognise the great contribution they have made to the sport while acknowledging they are no longer specifically aimed at upcoming championships. This new level is comprised of four horses - Tim and Jonelle Price’s Classic Moet, Faerie Dianimo, Ascona M and Ringwood Sky Boy, all who have played a significant part in the success of New Zealand internationally

Tim and Jonelle are also the only two remaining in the High Performance Squad with their horses Xavier Faer and Grovine de Reve respectively.

The High Performance Futures Squad features 16 combinations with New Zealand based Matthew Grayling with Trudeau and Samantha Lissington (UK) aboard Ricker Ridge Rui
