Puhinui International Horse Trials has a new cross country course designer this year as Australia’s Ewan Kellett crosses the Tasman to take a new challenge, designing the 2* and 3* courses.
Ewan is an FEI Level 3 Course Designer and is the course designer for the Sydney and Melbourne International 3 Day Events, as well as many other courses throughout Australia, and is also responsible for the Japanese National Championships.
We caught up with Ewan after the riders’ briefing to find out how the new job came about and what plans lay ahead (and don't be fooled by the sunny sky at the time of filming - the rain soon returned!)
