A quick update from Scone Horse Trials

Heath Ryan and Wimborne Constable at Sydney Summer Classic

A quick update from the NSW State Eventing Championships at the HTBA Scone Horse Trials where Justine Streater and the 11 year old bay gelding Warrego Marco Polo lead the Coolmore Australia CNC3* after show jumping and dressage today. Justine heads into tomorrow’s cross country phase just three penalties ahead of Kirsty Douglas on Cushavon Crackerjack who, like Justine, jumped a clear show jumping round today and stay on their dressage score of 53.50

Heath Ryan leads the Bates Saddles CNC2* on the stallion Wimborne Constable thanks to a clear show jumping round after the dressage leader Katie Taliana and Trevalgar, back after time out of competition, had two rails down in the show jumping for fourth place currently. Jess Rae on Rascal and Shenae Lowings on Venture Sky High are in second and third places and Heath will have to get a wiggle on tomorrow as there is very little between the top three

Niki Rose, reunited with her Glenorchy South Park, leads the Paradice Investment Management CNC1, moving up from fifth (51.50) thanks to a clear round when the dressage leader Sappho Ransan-Elliott riding Desert Storm picked up 16 show jumping penalties. Sappho still holds third place riding Sir Penhaligon (52.50), just behind Jess Rae again in second place on Alabama (51.70)
