It has been a slow few months for Tinney Eventing with events in Australia being cancelled due to the enormous amounts of water ... EVERYWHERE!
With a year like no other for inclement weather, following on from two years of on and off events due to COVID, our horses are getting older (sadly we are too!!) plus gaining less exposure and very much in need of competitions.
We have been in this business for 40 years and we have never been faced with such an unsettled period in our industry so we are truly hoping that 2023 will see us get back to competing regularly in preparation for Paris 2024.
But we are hopeful and are looking forward to a fabulous return to eventing in Australia soon

In the meantime, Stuart has been focusing on his Course Design plus travelling overseas to gain knowledge and trends in our sport, including being part of the Australian team experience on the ground at the World Championships at Pratoni, Italy.
Sadly, the Australian team did not go as well as expected, resulting in not qualifying for Paris 2024 Olympics. So the focus is now on qualification as a nation as the challenge for next year.
We had a brief holiday after the World Championships, enjoying some international travel, plus catching up with family in the UK

Back home and, although the full scale eventing competition had to be cancelled yet again, we hit Willinga Park for their Arena Eventing classes plus show jumping! The rain still came down in buckets, however the facility is so superb with amazing surfaces to ride on that it did not matter.
