It wasn't only about eventing at this year's Pearllago Equestrian In the Park in Perth
The West Coasts vets 1.25m class ran for the second time in 2019 and was won by Chadd Donovan on ‘Chicago’ - it’s nice to see they are keeping it in the family as wife Rebecca Donovan won the class last year and their son Angus was in the money too. Second place was taken out by Stephanie Tucker on Oaks Zena and third was junior rider Chloe Versteegan on MC Pico Diamonds.
The Fashions On The Field parade and contest has become a big favourite at Equestrian In The Park and the catwalk was filled with lots of bright colours this year! The men’s prize, a $500 voucher was kindly donated by Suit Vault and was won by Angus Donovan, son of Chad Donovan who won the West Coast Vets Jumping classic
The women’s prize was a sparkling $5,565 diamond bracelet generously donated by Solid Gold Diamonds and was won by Susie Segler in a classy polka dot number.
