Some facilities are still to be completed but the Test Events have been delivered at Pratoni
Hello everyone,
A couple of months have gone since my last blog but, after surviving the Test Events, I’m back. I’m not sure if I will succeed in summarise everything that happened in the last few months, but I’ll try.
The Test Events for both the Eventing and Driving World Championships have been delivered; we definitely experienced some challenges, but I’m proud about how the team really tried to solve them and deliver two nice weeks of sport. For sure there is a very long road ahead to be prepared for the World Championships in September and only 100 days to go!
Pratoni is not a venue that normally runs many shows each year and we still need to complete some of the facilities, so it was definitely good to test the operations in time to make some changes for the main event and also to make the venue efficient for many multi-disciplinary events in the future.
For both Eventing and Driving we had a good participation of National Federations that provided us with very useful feedbacks and comments that we are now taking into accounts for the World Championships delivery.

The Driving competition was definitely very interesting and useful for everyone, especially to understand the needs of Drivers and Horses in the various days of competition.

You may have heard about, and it is something we are all very proud of, the partnership we made with the Willberry Wonder Pony Charity.
PratoniBerry is now very busy travelling around to promote the Championships and collecting funds for the Charity that is supporting vital research into bone cancer and to provide Willberry’s Wishes to seriously ill people of all ages.
PratoniBerry will be on sale during the Championships with his cute purple scarf and a limited edition Pratoni2022 pin, with all profits going to the Charity.
Our website is also fully operational with tickets on sale, volunteer applications, info for spectators to plan their visit and also the replay of the Eventing live stream
It will definitely be very busy from now until September but we are very much looking forward to hosting the FEI World Championships 2022 for Eventing and Driving in 100 days!
