The perils of googling yourself

Study........

Oh my god. I decided to google myself today and that was not a good idea! Seeing all the embarrassing photos my mother decides are suitable for the internet and I didn’t even know they were going to be available to the public forever is not what I wanted to see! Aren’t there laws to protect me from this?

I haven’t done any events since I last blogged because I have been bogged down with study and assignments and now I have my licence and have to clock up the hours my weekends are hardly spent at home, let alone at an event. Nidhi came back from India and took King back (the horse I had been riding) to ride him at Canberra, although I think he was enjoying the not so frequent leisure rides.

Study.....................

In my last blog I told you about my NSW Institute of Sport scholarship for the year and how excited I was when I found out I was selected. Unfortunately next year the Institute are not continuing the equestrian section so I’m feeling extremely lucky to be included in the Institute this year and I’ll make good use of all their amazing facilities which benefit all athletes. They provide much needed online tutors and seminars that are helping me get through all the assignments and keeping me organised in this big year.

As you might of heard my sister, Gemma, is also making her way onto the eventing scene. After a couple of preliminary starts she is already boasting about her debut in pre-novice. Watch this space.

I actually really miss riding everyday but I have so many assignments and homework to do that it’s hard to think about it right now. I only get one chance at the HSC so unfortunately some sacrifices have to be made. I can’t wait until school is over and I get unlimited riding time.

That’s all for now – I’d better get back to the books.

And yet more study!
