Cavalia…….I honestly didn’t know what to expect…. was it going to be? ..well I just didn’t know…so of course I had to go and find out for myself.
It was an amazing mix of human athletic and acrobatic feats, horses working at liberty and doing "dressage tricks", comedy and crazy trick riders doing all sorts of things in a small area compared to what they are used to outside. They had a huge amount of geldings and stallions and one "little guy". Oh and a live band!!!!
The stage was sensational the music moving and the horses really got into the performance. Oh and the costumes…. Loved them, I leaned over to James (who had to stop me from clapping every 10 seconds with excitement) and said "Oh I wish I could wear things like that when I rode…. I love those sleeves" and what girl doesn't want to ride in a skirt set up that skims the horses knees with a strapless bodice…. Hair flowing in the wind….Be honest ladies????
The crazy lady standing on two horses with two pairs of horses out in front of her galloping around the stage and jumping jumps was very cool….she seemed to having a ball. The crowd got into the performance and gave the people and majestic horses a standing ovation. Get on the net and book a ticket.
