No longer are we in England. Last night Warren dropped Ninja and myself at Lucinda Fredericks' property. As an Australian overseas it is necessary to 'hitch' a ride to different events and clinics, and Lucinda was also competing at Luhmuhlen with one horse.
We drove to Dover where we caught an 11.15 ferry to Calais. From there we travelled through the night across 5 different countries, the last one being Germany. We were one of the first to arrive but people will pour in tomorrow. There will be 7 Australian horses competing in the 4 and 3 star classes. Ninja is doing the 3 star as he will back up in 2 weeks to compete at Aachen.
He is feeling very well and I am looking forward to a chance to test the areas we have been working on in a competition environment.
Whilst I am here I have to try to secure a ride to Gilbert Bockmann's property for training. Things work out usually, but it doesn't stop you getting stressed about all the logistics.
Until next time,
Murray
