Working on tension

      The course looks good

Last night it poured rain all night. Probably 20 mild at least. This morning it stopped and the day was lovely. The 4 star dressage was on which was good to watch.

In the morning I had a lesson with our dressage coach Gareth just to work on Ninja's tension issues in the big atmosphere arenas. I think it was a good exercise to come here and ride the same test as at Aachen in two weeks and Gareth really had some good ideas for getting Ninja into his more quality way of going at the start of the test.

I walked the cross country a second time and will walk it again in the morning before I start at 10.30 German time. The course looks good for the 3 star and the 4 star seems to have some real honesty tests for the horses. Doesn't seem as big or consistent as Badminton but maybe that is because I am sitting on the side lines.

We will see tomorrow.

Bye for now,

Murray.
