Andrew Cooper leads the way in three of the four international classes at the Steelworks Construction Queensland International 3 Day Event at Tamborine.

Andrew leads the CCI4*-L on board the nine-year-old Pepper Jack after dressage and cross country on a score of 50.9, with two rails in hand over second placed Gemma O’Leary riding Arnage Porsche after both riders jumped clear but went at a steady pace around the Ewan Kellett designed track.

Andrew also leads the CCI4*-S riding Hey Arnold, now the only competitor in this class after Ella Smith retired on cross country, and has a commanding lead in the CCI3*-S on board Cooley Down Under.

Georgia Rhode riding Cassio Xtreme is breaking Andrew’s grip on the competition by currently leading the CCI2*-L.

This pair, winners of the CCI2*-S at the recent Fig Tree Pocket International, have stayed on their dressage score of 29.9 to lead the class ahead of Matt Gaske riding Leads The Way (33.1) and Amilia Schooley riding Sandhills Stella (33.7) while Andrew has to settle for fourth place in this class riding Lexington Furstin Affair
