Growing up in Brisbane with a father who played polo, Christopher discovered the sport of eventing at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and was instantly hooked.

He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 and started his career in mixed animal practice on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria before starting a continual back-and-forth migration between Australia and the UK chasing his dream of becoming a sport horse veterinarian.

Christopher has worked in the ambulatory department of the University of Edinburgh Equine Hospital, completed an internship at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital, spent 3 years in an extremely busy and successful ambulatory sport horse practice in the south of England and completed a residency in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation at Randwick Equine Centre in Sydney.

After becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in February 2017, Christopher returned to the UK and works for Lambourn Equine Vets – an ambulatory veterinary clinic with a long and proud associating with the highest levels of British Eventing

As an FEI vet Christopher has worked at many international events all over Australia, the UK and the rest of the work.

Most notably he has worked at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, Normandy 2014 World Equestrian Games, Blair Castle 2015 European Eventing Championships, Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as numerous 3 day events including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Badminton and Burghley.
