21-year-old British rider Phoebe Locke started her equestrian career at a young age in the show jumping arena on 128cm and 138cm ponies. Her notable wins in show jumping include winning the Tiny Tots competition at Olympia (YEAR) and successfully competing at the Horse of the Year Show and Hickstead multiple times before transitioning to eventing
2014: Phoebe sold her Show Jumping ponies and moved onto Eventing. During her first full season Phoebe was selected to attend her first Pony European Eventing Championship.
2015: Following her success the previous year, Phoebe was once again selected to represent Great Britain in Malmo, Sweden where the team achieved the Gold Medal at the European Championships
2016: Phoebe moved up to her first season on horses and during this year was selected for the Junior European Eventing Championships, where the team won Bronze.
2017: Phoebe was again selected for the European Championships in Ireland where Britain won Team Silver.
2019: Phoebe became the British Under 21 Champion after her win at Houghton International and then went onto win Gold at the Young Rider European Eventing Championships.
2020: At just 20 years of age, Phoebe won her first CCI4* on Pica’dor, making her one of the youngest riders to win this level of competition.
Phoebe is now moving forward with plans to set up her own yard and her own business with 12 horses at various different levels to be competed professionally at Senior Level. Phoebe understands that to succeed professionally in equestrian sport at the highest level will be hard work but she is passionate and her goal is to improve on an already stellar career.
